Two newly established MSL positions within the respiratory therapy area
On behalf of our client, GSK, Hays is offering two newly established positions as MSL with the aim of characterizing the public image of the organization. You will be the scientific expert for respiratory medicine and the respiratory therapy area. The MSL will deliver ‘in-the-field’ scientific engagement with healthcare professionals in order to provide scientific and medical information compliantly in line with GSK standard operating procedures and local codes of practice, guidelines and laws.

It is a self-driven role, combining outreaching work with deep scientific knowledge. It is expected, that the MSL will spend approximately 70% of one’s time externally focused. It is a key-position, where you will act as the interface between the professional healthcare community and the internal GSK respiratory team. You will gain valuable insight and feedback from the healthcare community regarding GSK products and services as well as medical and scientific information, which can help guide research, development and service provision to benefit GSK’s customers and patients.

In order to succeed in the role it is all-important that you thrive with the deep science and evidence based therapy understanding combined with the outreaching and communicating work. You must be motivated by being a key speaker for GSK within one of the company’s key areas and enjoy speaking in front of a large audience.

Self-driven profile with scientific mind-set
In order to be taken into consideration for the position, you must hold a solid scientific educational basis – e.g. Doctor of Medicine, MSc, Nurse or Pharmacist. Possessing pharmaceutical industry experience with successfully engaging in scientific exchange with external experts will serve favorable but is not all-important in our selection for the role. Clinical experience within the respiratory therapeutic area will likewise prove advantageous. In continuation hereof, experience with evaluating and effectively communicating evidence-based medicine will serve valuable. Fluency in Danish and English is a must.

The mind-set of the candidate is all-important in order to succeed in the MSL position. You must be robust, self-driven and seek to collaborate with many stakeholders. Furthermore, you must thrive with collecting complex data and continuously expand your specialist knowledge.
