Are you a clinical development professional eager to join a leading pharmaceutical company focused on brain diseases and be part of a team dedicated to clinical development in the pediatric population? We offer a Senior Clinical Development Scientist/Physician position in Clinical Development Pediatrics, based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, reporting to Senior Director, Clinical Development – Pediatrics.

The pediatric department is responsible for the scientific and medical activities related to the development and execution of international clinical study plans, including planning, conducting, monitoring, and reporting of the clinical studies in pediatric populations. This includes interactions with internal and external stakeholders such as clinical and regulatory experts, authorities, partners (e.g. vendors and consultants), and attendance and scientific communication at international meetings.

Your job and key responsibilities
As a Clinical Developer within pediatrics, you will design and plan clinical studies to current scientific, ethical, and regulatory standards in accordance with EMA and FDA regulations. You will have the responsibility for scientific and medical monitoring of the clinical studies and participate in clinical data analysis. You will work in cross-functional project teams together with internal and external colleagues. You will also attend regulatory and scientific meetings and there will be multiple opportunities to travel to meet with external experts in the field.

Qualifications
Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor and/ or PhD, experience with pediatrics, psychiatry or neurology is preferable
  • 3-5 years’ experience within clinical development and regulatory interaction
  • High performing individual, self-motivating and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with and good understanding of clinical development within pediatrics
  • Communicates effectively, being comfortable presenting to small and large audiences
  • Detail-oriented when required and with an analytical approach to the data
  • Positive mind set and strives to find innovative solutions
  • Fluency in English (oral and written)
