We are looking for experienced Senior Pharmacovigilance Physicians with good drive and positive energy to fill positions in the Urology, Endocrinology & Devices team and in the Gastroenterology and Reproductive Health team both starting 1 March 2019.

THE DEPARTMENT
In Global Pharmacovigilance we are more than 60 international employees responsible for the surveillance of Ferring’s medicinal products and devices. THE JOB
As Senior Pharmacovigilance Physician, you will play an important role in leading drug safety for key products incl. chairing of Safety Management Teams, surveillance, risk management planning, aggregate reporting and medical review of case reports for investigational and marketed products. In addition, you will be working as an integrated member of dedicated teams collaborating with clinical development, regulatory affairs, authorities, affiliates and partners for assigned products and projects.

You will be supporting implementation of new procedures across Global Pharmacovigilance´s strategic framework. Likewise, you will be involved in training and supervision of new employees. As part of the Pharmacovigilance Physician team, you also participate in cross-functional projects of further development of our procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential in this role, which interacts with many other disciplines. You have the ability to work independently and as part of a project, and you are keen on working in a multicultural environment. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are a highly motivated, self-driven and dependable individual with a positive attitude and a sense of humor. Further, you are able to work against tight deadlines, have a good sense of urgency and cope well under pressure.

It is an absolute requirement for the preferred candidates to have a medical or alternatively veterinary degree and to have experience within pharmacovigilance. The preferred candidates have solid knowledge from the pharmaceutical industry and experience within the one or more of the mentioned therapeutic areas.

The successful candidate is bright, ambitious and with an easy yet assertive personality.

Fluency in English with good verbal and written language skills is a given.
