Clinical Development at Lundbeck
Clinical Development is responsible for planning, conducting and the evaluation of clinical studies. Our therapy areas consist of Psychiatry and Neurology. The position is based within the Neurology Clinical Development Group at Lundbeck’s Headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.

Your job and the journey
We are searching for a graduate who can support Clinical Development mainly on translational aspects of clinical development plans focusing on integration of imaging biomarkers, while developing professional and personal skills and expertise for a career in drug development. You will report to and work closely with the Head of our Parkinson’s Disease Modification projects as well as with the Head of Clinical Neurology. You will participate in clinical study teams and be interacting with multi-disciplinary project groups and work in close collaboration with partners in Research, Clinical and Quantitative Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Clinical Study Management.

For you to learn as much as possible about drug development, the Graduate Programme includes periods of job rotation to other relevant areas in Lundbeck, including Research, as well as the potential option of a short research stay at an external facility.

During the programme, you will also participate in a wide range of development activities on your own as well as with other graduates across the entire value chain – everything designed to guide you through the programme, making sure you are on track and able to unfold your potential.

The position may include travel activities.

Qualifications
Our preferred graduate has the following qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree
  • Minimum 1,5 years of clinical experience as a physician. However, maximum 5 years of work experience from either clinical practice or a research setting
  • Strong and documented research experience, preferably a PhD degree
  • Track record in working with translational technologies relevant to CNS disorders, especially imaging biomarkers
  • You have the ambition to push yourself to achieve results
  • You are eager to learn, contribute and apply knowledge
  • You work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and build partnerships
  • You actively seek new ways to grow and to be challenged using both formal and informal development channels
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills

Recruitment process
The recruitment process will have an additional screening process between the submission of your application and the 1st round of interviews.
